I became a journalist when I realized I could turn my tendency to ask socially inappropriate questions into a career.
My work has appeared in The New Yorker, The Atlantic, Vice, Wired, and other publications. I have also been interviewed on NPR, featured in Pocket, and cited on the New York Times' "What We're Reading" List. I have worked for the Center for Investigative Reporting, The Investigative Reporting Program and Nautilus Magazine among other places.
I write about everything, but I'm particularly interested in stories where science & politics intersect.
Representation: The Beth Vesel Literary Agency.
